Botox Beauty Queen CYNDY Everett RN
CYNDY Everett RN
Cyndy is one of a kind!    She is BRILLIANT at what she does, but also has all the untrainable assets that cannot be taught or learned.  She has a natural gift with people,  a magnetic personality, and an amazing, contagious enthusiasm and passion for her work.  It goes without saying,  that she is as professional as they come.   I feel very comfortable and at ease when she is doing a procedure and I don't feel pressured, because she is so intuitive in knowing what is best for the individual.

Why Dermal Fillers?

For patients with well-defined wrinkles or creases, such as the fold between their nose and mouth and marionette lines around the mouth, most cosmetic practitioners agree that injectable fillers are one of the best non-surgical treatments available to date. We are trained in the advanced uses of fillers for cheek augmentation, nasal re-shaping, restoring cheek volume, and also hand rejuvenating.

Radiesse® is a next-generation cosmetic filler which replaces lost volume and restores youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

The Radiesse® Difference

Radiesse®  is made off tiny, smooth calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel. These molecules add fullness to lost volume in areas of facial folds, and have effects which are even longer lasting than the hyaluronic-based fillers (such as Restylane and Juvederm). Radiesse encourages the body to naturally produce more of its own collagen. This additional benefit of Radiesse makes it a longer lasting filler then either Restylane or Juvederm. Radiesse typically last up to 18 months. Depending on factors such as the depth of the folds, areas being treated, and patient desires, we can determine the correct filler for you, and the correct amounts.

There is no need for an allergy test prior to Radiesse™ filler injections since the microspheres are comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite, a substance naturally found in the body.

For the first three months after Radiesse® treatment, it acts as a cosmetic filler, plumping up the skin and diminishing age lines. Then, Radiesse® microspheres stimulate natural collagen growth, actually causing new tissue development for extended results (up to two years). In addition, Radiesse® is useful in the treatment of scars and chin dimples.

THE PROCEDURE

Before receiving treatment, you should stop taking aspirin, Advil,  vitamin E supplements, fish oil supplements, green tea, omega 3 fatty acids,  and flax seed oil as these can increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site and may also lengthen your healing time.  Please advise me of any other medications you are taking which could interfere with your treatment, and these medications should be avoided as well. If you have any other health concerns, make sure you share this with your general doctor before stopping medication and proceeding with treatments.

Topical numbing cream may be used, or a dental block as requested by a patient. Fillers are injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultrafine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. The procedure is simple, convenient and the results are practically instantaneous. Treatment time is approximately 20-30 minutes.

The results are seen instantaneously, although there may be some redness for a few days. Radiesse® lasts up t0 18 months.

When used with BOTOX® long-term results are excellent.

After Care

Radiesse® aftercare is simple and does not generally interfere with the daily routines of patients. Patients should avoid over exposure to heat and sunlight, as they might increase swelling and bruising at the injection site.   Also suggest chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, laser skin tightening, and other laser enhancements should be avoided as there is a chance that they may cause inflammation. Post-treatment pain should be minimal. A common complaint among those who have undergone Radiesse™ treatment is swelling, though this should subside in the first few days after the injection. Healing time varies from person to person, however, so some may experience redness and swelling slightly longer than others.

.

NOTE: If you are considering dermal fillers before a social event such as an important dinner, or wedding, we would advise against doing the procedure on the same day, although same day procedures are perfectly acceptable. This would be to make allowances for mild redness or swelling.

Natural Tips

Here are some all-natural over-the-counter remedies for discomfort. These tips help deal with minor bruises and swelling.

Tea bag: Place a cooled tea bag on a bruise and leave it there for an extended period to help is heal faster (the best type would be comfrey, if you have it)

Vinegar: Soak a cloth with white vinegar and place it on your bruise for up to 60 minutes (cut it with distilled water if you don't like the smell).

Vitamin K: Eat leafy green vegetables days before fillers and you'll be more resistant to bruising. Aim for 60-80 mcg a day without taking supplements (for example, 1/4 cup broccoli has about 105 mcg, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise has 11 mcg)

Witchhazel: Place a cloth soaked with distilled witch hazel to the area of the body that is swollen.

Ice packs: Always the old standby. Using them will reduce any redness and swelling.

Radiesse Rejuvenation for Hands - Requires 2 Syringes

This is a fast, super simple procedure that literally converts older-looking hands to younger looking hands in minutes. Although it may look painful, it's little more than a quick "stick". We inject several areas and then spread the Radiesse to form a smooth, even surface on the back of the hand.

Injections in the back of the hands might be assumed to be painful, but in reality the procedure is virtually painless. It generally takes less than 20 minutes to inject both hands.

A "bolus" or "ball" of Radiesse is injected and then massaged into the volume-deficient areas. Because the product is thicker than hyaluronic fillers, it is easily massaged into place, staying in those areas so the skin is smooth and even. Radiesse maintains a soft, natural feel and takes on the characteristics of the surrounding skin tissue. Once integrated into the skin the presence of the Radiesse microspheres promotes new elastin and collagen production. Part of the long lasting effect is your own new collagen.

Radiesse Hand Before and After
Results typically last 12 to 18 months. The microspheres of CaHA have been shown to last up to seven years clinically. Radiesse should provide a long lasting correction, however individual results may vary, affected by age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity.
